Greenbelt is managing open space on behalf of approximately 27,000 homeowners through its Greenspace Arrangement.
A further 27,000 homeowners are contracted and programmed to engage in this service within the next three years.
Greenbelt has responsibility for around 750 development sites across the UK (around 275 of which are currently operated under our Greenspace arrangement), representing around 15 million square metres of open space and woodland, including:
- 180 play areas
- 130 Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS ) and water drainage schemes
- 100 designated properties such as nature reserves, listed buildings and other structural features that are designed into new developments
Greenbelt has tailored site specific, Greenspace and service agreements that apply to the development industry.
